Situated on 56 acres, surrounded by rock walls, pine trees, and waterfalls, Crockett's Run is the premier Hocking Hills wedding destination. From small celebrations to 175 guest receptions, Crockett's Run offers spectacular natural surroundings that create the ideal backdrop for your special day.

Whether you want to exchange vows in front of a picture-perfect rock wall, against a waterfall, tucked into our pine forest, or next to our pond, our dedicated and creative staff are here to assist in making your wedding as beautiful and unique as you wish. Our Event Lodge offers a rustic indoor reception area that adapt to any decor style.

The Fern Room

The Fern Room is our newly-renovated bridal suite where you and your bridal party can get ready and celebrate before walking down the aisle. Found throughout Crockett’s Run, ferns represent new beginnings and the start of a new life together.

Ceremony Locations

Choose from five distinct settings across the property, each with its own character and backdrop. Exchange vows under the pines, surrounded by towering evergreens. Say “I do” against the dramatic rock wall by the pond, with water reflecting behind you. Or gather your guests at the rock wall near base camp for a more intimate, tucked-away feel.

The pond itself makes a beautiful ceremony setting—peaceful water, open sky, and that sense of being somewhere truly special. We’re also adding a pavilion (coming soon) for couples who want the beauty of an outdoor ceremony with a bit more cover.

The Event Lodge

The Event Lodge is where your celebration comes to life. With natural hardwood floors, open rafters, and indoor/outdoor fireplaces, the space feels warm and elegant without needing much decoration.

  Crockett's Run was an absolute dream. Everyone who attended our wedding said it was the best wedding venue they've ever been to! The venue and scenery make the weekend an entire experience for the couple and their guests. If I couldn't get married at Crockett's Run, I would elope haha.   Incredible venue! And the people behind the scenes make this place even more magical. There are so many options within this venue of things to do and see. If you’re looking for a venue for your wedding this place has it all from forest vibes, to rocky cliff feels, to wide open meadows. Sooo many places to take stunning pictures!

  This is such a beautiful venue. If you are thinking of getting married here, do it. My sister had her wedding here and it was such a wonderful experience. Family and friends rented all the cabins on the property and we were able to hike and fish. We were even able to have a bonfire one night. The day of the wedding was wonderfully facilitated and organized by Megan and Ben. They made sure everything went off without a hitch even making an extra beer run to the store so that my sister and her new husband didn’t have to worry about anything on their day. I definitely recommend Crockett’s Run.

  I had my wedding at Crockett’s Run, and it was wonderful! They were so great to work with, and were focused on solving problems, potential or ongoing, as quickly and respectfully as possible. I highly recommend having your wedding here! The site itself was gorgeous and everyone had a lovely time.

  A group of friends and I stayed at the Bowie cabin and had an absolutely amazing experience. We had a few hiccups (on VRBO’s end of things) and Ben and Megan worked with us and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. I highly recommend this cabin!   Crockett’s Run is the absolute dreamiest wedding venue we could have ever imagined for our September wedding. The property is nestled on 55 gorgeous acres, which provides each couple a variety of unique spots to choose to have their ceremony at, each breathtaking in their own way. We chose to get married in front of the rock wall, which is surrounded by greenery and right near the water on property. The property has cabins, yurts and bunkies for guests to stay on site in, which most of our guests took advantage of.  There is also a large bonfire pit that you can have set up, which makes for a delightful welcome dinner accessory and/or a wind down after the wedding dancing, we did both! We also had our reception in the event lodge, which has 2 stone fireplaces & beautifully lined with wooden panels. We could have not decorated at all, and it still would have been the most breathtaking event lodge. Abbey was truly such a delight to work with, from our first tour, to the wedding day. She made us feel like the most important couple in the world, even when she's juggling a million other things. My husband and I would call her our personal tinkerbell, because she was everywhere doing everything all at once, and always with a smile. We also got the pleasure to work with the fabulous ladies over at JKR events, Ciera & Carly. They were absolutely God sent, and helped throw a beautiful wedding that went off without a hitch. Any time during our wedding weekend that I had a last minute request or question, they were 10 steps ahead of me and always responded with”Girl, already done! We got it you” I am truly tearing up while writing this, because there are simply not enough words in the world to say how lucky we felt to be so taken care of by this venue and its people.
