Before it was a wedding destination and retreat, this land spent decades as a camp—including a stint as a band camp—summers full of kids running between cabins, campfire singalongs, and that particular magic that happens when you bring people together somewhere beautiful. The property has changed hands and purpose over the years, but that spirit stuck around.
Today, Crockett’s Run carries forward what the land has always done best: giving groups a place to gather, unplug, and actually be together. Whether you’re here for a wedding weekend, a family reunion, or just a few days away with people you love, you’ll find 56 acres designed for connection—trails to wander, fires to sit around, and plenty of room to breathe.

Bonfire
Each cabin has its own fire pit, and for larger groups, there’s an 8-foot-wide pit down in the gorge. Wood’s available on site.

Hiking
Skip the crowded state park trails. Our private paths wind past a 30-foot seasonal waterfall, through the gorge, and along the creek—mossy rocks, native plants, and no one else around.

Pond
Stocked with bass, crappie, and bluegill. Bring a pole, grab a seat on the dock, or just enjoy the view.

Waterfall
A 30-foot seasonal waterfall twists down over eroded stone, with a smaller cascade flowing into the creek below.

Wildflower Field
Open meadow filled with wildflowers and butterflies in season. A favorite spot for photos and quiet moments.

Picnic
Picnic tables are scattered throughout the property, some under shelters, some out in the open. Bring a blanket and find your spot by the pond.
